Now that I am in a new community of artists and have no studio of my own, I use the Quarry arts community centre to fire my ceramics. Every year they host a Great Plate exhibition which raises fund for the centre.
This year it was an open theme, so I decided to make hanging living plates.
Each one captures the rain from aobe which filters thorugh the biome and drains out, when stacked the rain runs through the biomes much the same as a river flows through different biomes in it’s journey to the sea.
